Role of Micronutrients on the Increased Growth and Yield of Mulberry (Morus alba L.) Plants

Moriculture is a significant factor for better production of silk in the field sericulture. The present study deals with influence micronutrients on increased growth and yield mulberry plants [MR2 (Mildew Resistant Variety 2)]. Field experiments comprising twelve treatments including controlsupplemented desired quantity single or combination were analysed to morphometric characteristic parameters plant, viz., plant height, shoot length, number branches leaves per leaf area yield. At 45th 60th day pruning, maximum height was noted T9(CuSO4 15Kg/ha + ZnSO4 FeSO4 30Kg/ha)and T10(CuSO4 20Kg/ha 40Kg/ha) whichincreased by22.33% 25.8%,respectively over control; lengthwas recorded T9which by26.32% 30.86%,respectively observed by41.62% 45.75%,respectively notedin T9 which increasedby 27.9% 31.42%,respectively by 60.59% 25.39%,respectively 100 yield/plant by118.91% 136.74%; 70.71% 91.07%,respectively control. findings emphasized that supplementation general particular enhanced plants.
